The new menu at the restaurant is inspired by the third and final film in the Downton Abbey series.

This Autumn, to celebrate the release of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (in cinemas on the 12th September), The Ivy West Street has launched a brand new menu suitable for fans of Downton Abbey or for those simply looking for a meal filled with history luxury.
Available for £27.95 for two courses or £34.95 for three courses, the menu is inspired by the tastes and traditions of the Crawley family, their household, and the grand dining rooms of England’s stately homes.
To start, guests will be able to enjoy dishes such as Devilled Steak Tartare served with toast, shallots, cornichons, capers, parsley, and egg yolk, or a Roquefort Salad with green apple, grapes, chicory, hazelnuts, and a grain mustard dressing. The Traditionally Oak Smoked Salmon with cream cheese, chives, lemon, and dark rye bread nods to classic sophistication.
The main courses pay tribute to beloved favourites, reinvented for today’s diners. The signature The Ivy Shepherd’s Pie, made with slow-braised lamb and beef, Cheddar mash, rosemary, and red wine sauce, celebrates comforting tradition. For a lighter choice, the Garden Vegetable Curry combines jackfruit, sweet potatoes, pak choi, chilli, and coriander with jasmine rice. Other highlights include Truffle-Stuffed Chicken Breast with wild mushroom and tarragon fricassée, the The Ivy Fish Cake with spinach and tarragon velouté, and a luxurious 21-Day Aged Sirloin Steak (£5.95 supplement), dry-aged on a Himalayan salt wall for exceptional flavour.
To finish off the meal, guests can enjoy the Ivy Chocolate Dome reveals vanilla ice cream and honeycomb beneath a melting chocolate shell and hot caramel sauce, while the Sticky Toffee Pudding with dates, clotted cream, lemon balm, and toffee sauce, or the classic Caramelised Crème Brûlée with a crisp sugar crust, deliver indulgent, nostalgic flavours.
Alongside the meal, guests can enjoy The Gilded Peach Cobbler (£13) – a 1930s-inspired cocktail of sloe gin, Crème de Pêche, Beesou honey aperitif, pineapple syrup, and Champagne – or upgrade their dining experience with a glass of The Ivy Guest Champagne.
