NEWS: New UK & Ireland Tour of Annie Announced

It has been announced that a new tour of the musical ‘Annie’ will embark on a brand new UK & Ireland tour in 2026.

Directed by Curve’s artistic director Nikolai Foster, the musical written by Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin and Thomas Meehan features the classic songs “It’s the Hard Knock Life”, “Easy Street”, “I Don’t Need Anything But You” and “Tomorrow”.

The story follows the adventures of orphan Annie who is adopted by a billionaire, much to the dismay of her  orphanage’s owner.

Casting for the new tour has yet to be announced.

Following its run in Wimbledon, the tour will then visit: Birmingham, Manchester, Plymouth, Canterbury, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Blackpool, Newcastle, Dublin, Bristol, Nottingham, Hull, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Truro, Cheltenham, Stoke-on-Trent, Crawley, Belfast, Aberdeen, Woking, Bradford, and a festive season in Oxford.

In 2027, the show will visit:  Sunderland, Norwich, Wolverhampton, Glasgow, and Leicester, with further dates to be added.

The production features set and costume design by Colin Richmond, choreography by Nick Winston, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound design by Richard Brooker.
