Here’s a guide to some books to look out for this month…

Remain by Nicholas Sparks with M. Night Shyamalan: the author of The Notebook and director of The Sixth Sense come together to bring a new supernatural love story to readers from the 14th October. It follows the story of New York architect Tate Donovan who arrives in Cape Cod to design his friend’s summer home, still struggling with the death of his beloved sister. He then meets a young woman named Wren who will challenge every assumption he has about his logical and controlled world.

Boleyn Traitor by Philippa Gregory: the historical fiction author returns with her latest novel which reexamines the story of Jane Boleyn as she became entrapped in the downfall of two queens: Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard. The book is set to be published on the 7th October.

When Gavin Met Stacey and Everything in Between by Ruth Jones & James Corden: taking fans behind the scenes of the beloved comedy, this book recounts the challenges and joys of creating Gavin & Stacey. Released on the 9th October, the book will feature revelations and anecdotes to working scripts and never-before-seen photographs to provide fans with a close up an deeply personal look behind the scenes of the immensely popular comedy.

Last Rites by Ozzy Osbourne: read about the crazy life and career from Black Saabath’s legendary star with this frank and honest autobiography that charts the extraordinary life that he led. It will includes all the highs and lows along the way, including his marriage to wife Sharon, as well as what it took for him to get back onstage for the triumphant Back to the Beginning concert. The book will be published on the 7th October.

Vagabond by Tim Curry: Emmy award-winning actor Tim Curry looks back at his career that he has built over the last five decades. From his breakout role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show to his iconic depiction as the sadistic clown Pennywise in It, the actor takes a behind-the-scenes look of his rise to fame from his early beginnings as a military BRAT with difficult family dynamics, to his formative years in boarding school and university, to the moment when he hit the stage for the first time. The book is set to be published on the 14th October.
