The Pan Pacific Hotel in London has announced a variety of events to mark this year’s festive season.
This will begin with lights switch-on of London’s tallest Christmas tree , which will take place in Bishopsgate Plaza (2 mins from London Liverpool Street Station) on Thursday 20th November, with Dermot O’Leary, the well-known television and radio presenter, performing the switch-on.
The Eastern City Christmas Tree, standing at 67 feet tall, will be lit up from 17:30 to 18:30. The “Let It Snow” themed tree will also feature hundreds of glowing snowflakes that light up in sequence to form a choreographed display. The evening will also include a performance from Revelation Avenue Choir, appearances from stilt walkers, and festive treats such as mulled wine and mince pies. At various times during the evening and days following, the tree will present a light show, with the snowflake patterns dancing in time to seasonal musical favourites.
The hotel will also be offering exclusive package stays for couples or families, festive afternoon teas and Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Pan Pacific’s special festive romantic two night package will include a welcome bottle of Champagne (or alternative) and daily access to the SENSORY wellbeing floor. On Christmas Eve, couples enjoy canapés and a cocktail or mocktail in Ginger Lily Bar & Lounge, followed by a three-course à la carte dinner, then unwind with a seasonally scented bubble bath and an in-suite nightcap of dry Sherry and artisanal cheese twists. Christmas Day begins with breakfast in bed with Mimosas, continues with a decadent roast lunch and a surprise hamper from Cartwright & Butler and ends with live jazz and a festive dinner. The stay concludes on Boxing Day with a leisurely breakfast, Champagne Afternoon Tea and late check-out.
Meanwhile, for families the hotel will offer two night family escape. From Christmas Eve to Boxing Day will include a range of festive treats along with a special visit from Father Christmas adding extra cheer for the little ones who will also enjoy sweet turndown treats, festive mocktails, movie screenings, and their own Singa Cub Club Activity Book.
The hotel will also host a special festive afternoon tea, with a children’s option also available.
