The hotel’s private cinema will be screening a range of classic horror films to mark Halloween.
On Friday the 31st October the Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch will celebrate Halloween with guests invited to enjoy a horror movie marathon – including The Exorcist, Halloween and The Shining, complete with two cocktails and a menu of light bites.
Those who don’t want to leave for home afterwards can extend the experience with an overnight stay in the hotel.
The Horror Movie Marathon plus two cocktails and light bites menu is priced at £50pp and with an overnight stay is £150pp.
Held within the atmospheric state-of-the-art screening room, complete with eerie lighting, full stage acoustics, a micro-perforated 8m × 4m screen and Dolby sound processor, the evening promises an immersive cinematic experience of celluloid screams, ideal for the scariest night of the year.
Those arriving arriving for the marathon will be welcomed into the former Old Street Magistrates Court with their first cocktail of the evening before settling in for a night of horror classics. With its rich architectural heritage, retaining elements including courtroom panelling and the Jailhouse Bar’s original police-cell booths, its a great way to experience Halloween.
