Interview With…Regina Sparkles

Hi, what can we expect from ‘Sinderella’? After reading through the script, I think audience can expect to have belly hurting laughing with lots of tongue and cheek. innuendos and perfectly timed comedy!

What have you enjoyed about being part of the show so far? What I have enjoyed been part of Sinderella so far is meeting the cast and getting to know everyone, their backgrounds of expertise and the journey that has lead them to Adult Panto.

Could you tell me more about the character that you play? I am playing the lead -Sinderella, Similarities to the original story, just small differences such as that Sinderella is been played by a broad Yorkshireman DragQueen who happens to be nearly 7ft in a pair of heels!.. mostly legs.

What do you love about pantomimes? I love Panto, Basically it says what it is on the tin! you always know what to expect, oh no you don’t, oh yes you do. He’s behind you…. What! Again! :’) but adult panto is going to be much worse! with much more adult humour.

What is your favourite part of the festive season? My favourite part of the festive season is when it’s over haha! joking… To me the festive season isn’t about to food or the presents. I’m a very sentimental kind of person and I love the company of Family and Friends. My circle in life is very small but I appreciate and love every single one of them. It’s a time to reflect and remember those of pass and also cherish the memories and love shared for the most important people in life.
