NEWS: Inside No.9 Stage /Fright Stage Show Announces Final Shows

The final stage performances of Inside No.9 Stage /Fright are set to take place at the Eventim Apollo from the 2nd to the 6th January 2026.

Having premiered in the West End earlier this year, the show then embarked on a UK tour in September, which continues for the next month in Stoke, Liverpool and Edinburgh before culminating in Birmingham on 6 December, ahead of the final Hammersmith shows.

Nominated for an Olivier Award this year in the Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play category, Inside No.9 Stage/Fright features comedic, spooky and dramatic moments as fans of the BBC TV show have come to expect, with some familiar characters and
stories mixing with brand new material.

These final shows will see Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith starring once again in this stage adaptation of their beloved tv show. They will be joined by Rebecca
Bainbridge, Mark Extance, Gaby French, Miranda Hennessy, Bhav Joshi and Toby Manley,
Sarah Moyle and Sophie Suddaby. Special guest stars have included Ian McKellen, Jonathan Ross, Maureen Lipman, Lenny Henry, Stephen Fry, Rick Astley, Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Basil Brush.

The show is directed by Simon Evans, with set design by Grace Smart and costume design by Yves Barre. Meanwhile, the creative team also includes: lighting design by Neil Austin, sound design by Ed Lewis, choreography by Nicola Keen, illusions by John Bulleid, video & projections by Duncan McLean, special effects by Dan Martin and Ryan O’Connor, fight direction by Bethan Clark, composers Christian Henson and Ed Lewis and casting director Anna Cooper CDG.
