NEWS: Sadie Sink & Noah Jupe to Star in Robert Icke’s Production of Romeo & Juliet

Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) and Noah Jupe (Hamnet) are set to make their West End debuts in Robert Icke’s upcoming production of Romeo & Juliet, which will play at the Harold Pinter Theatre from the 16th March until the 6th June.

In Verona, in the height of summer, two young people meet at a party. The rest is tragedy.

Icke’s recent projects have included Oedipus in the West End and on Broadway and returns to Shakespeare’s work following his take on Hamlet which starred Andrew Scott.

While further casting has yet to be announced, the creative team is also set to include: Hildegard Bechtler (set and costume), Jon Clark (lighting), Tom Gibbons (sound), and Ash J Woodward (video), with casting by Julia Horan and Jim Carnahan.

The production is being produced by  Empire Street Productions, whose recent work includes:  Elektra, Slave Play, and Prima Facie, which will tour the UK in 2026.

A press night for Romeo & Juliet has been set for the 31st March 2026.
