The film will be released in Spring 2026.
A trailer has now been released for David Lowery’s upcoming new film, which is set to be released in Spring next year.
Described as a ‘psychosexual pop thriller’, the film follows the strained relationship between pop singer Mary and fashion designer Sam after the former’s need for a dress for her new tour draws them back together.
David Lowery is known for films such as Green Knight , A Ghost Story, Pete’s Dragon. His last film was the Disney+ original Peter Pan & Wendy starring Jude Law.
Mother Mary stars Anne Hathaway as Mary, Michaela Coel as Sam and Hunter Schafer.
The film also features original music written and produced by Charli xcx, Jack Antonoff and FKA twigs.
