The show fuses live jazz and theatre to explore the life of Miles Davies.

It has been announced following its run at the Summerhall Arts at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Oliver Kaderbhai’s ‘Miles.’ will transfer to London’s Southwark Playhouse from the 4th February until the 7th March.
Set to officially open on the 9th February, the Kaderbhai written and directed production will star Benjamin Akintuyosi and Jay Phelps as a variety of characters.
This powerful play traces the life and legacy of jazz icon Miles Davis, diving into the soul of an artist and exploring the influence of the greatest jazz album of all time, ‘Kind of Blue’.
Written and directed by Oliver Kaderbhai, and using :DELIRIUM:’s signature style, it blends live music, projection and puppetry to craft a dream-like journey through Davis’s world of innovation, addiction and creativity.
Also on the creative team for the production are: set and costume designer Ellie Wintour, lighting designer Alex Lewer, sound designer Will Tonna and projection designer Colin J Smith.
