It will include a revival of a Michael Frayn play as well as the UK premiere of Sarah Ruhl’s latest play.

The Hampstead Theatre has announced two additional shows for its 2026 season.
It has been announced that Michael Longhurst will direct a new revival of Michael Frayn’s Copenhagen, which will run at the theatre from the 27th March until the 2nd May. The play, inspired by true events will star Alex Kingston and Richard Schiff with further casting yet to be announced.
The production of Copenhagen will be then be followed by the UK premiere of Sarah Ruhl’s Stage Kiss (8th May to 13th June), which first is a 1930’s melodrama before switching to 2011 New Haven, where two actors with a shared history rehearse a revival of a play titled The Last Kiss. This UK production will be directed by Blanche McIntyre.
These productions join the previously announced world premieres of Bird Grove by Alexi Kaye Campbell and Springwood by Richard Nelson on the Main Stage, as well as the UK premiere of award-winning musical Kimberly Akimbo. R.O.I. (Return on Investment) by Aaron Loeb, Firewing by David Pearson and the UK premiere of We Had A World by Joshua Harmon will play at Hampstead Downstairs seasons.
