The production will run at the theatre from the 2nd April until the 2nd May.

Casting has been announced for Ken Ludwig’s Dear Jack, Dear Louise which begins performances this spring.
Directed by Simon Reade (former Artistic Director of Bristol Old Vic and Literary
Manager at Royal Shakespeare Company). , this UK premiere production is set to star Preston Nyman as Jack (Mufasa: The Lion King) and Eva Feiler as Louise (The Crown).
When two strangers meet by letter during World War II, it sparks an unlikely correspondence that will change their lives forever.
Jack is a military doctor and US Army Captain stationed in Oregon, earnest and duty-bound. Louise is an aspiring actress and dancer in New York, brimming with sparkle and big-city dreams. What begins as one letter soon turns into hundreds.
Talking about the play Simon Reade said: “Ken has written a love letter to his parents that is quite simply a marvel in our age of texting and social media interactions. This outstanding play takes the most intimate and personal and makes it epic by staging it against the jackboot march of world history. And all, dazzlingly, as classic comedy.
It’s the best kind of comedy because it is rooted in something profound and
deadly serious. Which is why Ken is the doyen of dramatists, as well as the most
generous.”
The creative team behind the production includes: designer Robert Innes-Hopkins, lighting designer Richard Williamson, sound designer Jamie Lu and costume supervisor Katherine Watt.
