The new run of Mischief’s latest comedy will run at the Adelphi Theatre for eight weeks only from the 1st August until the 26th September.

Announced at this year’s WhatsOnStage Awards, at which it won the Best New Play, The Comedy About Spies will play in the West End for a strictly limited run this summer.
When a rogue British agent pilfers plans for a top-secret weapon, CIA and KGB spies converge on London’s Piccadilly Hotel in pursuit of the elusive file. ‘Abandon yourself to the madness’ (The Times) and join a clueless young couple, a hapless actor angling for an exciting spy movie role, and enough double agents to confuse even the sharpest operative, in a mission that’s hilariously out of control.
The show is co-written by Henry Lewis and Henry Shields and directed by Matt DiCarlo. Jonathan Sayer is executive producer.
Meanwhile, the creative team also includes: set designer David Farley, costume designer Deborah Andrews, movement director Shelley Maxwell, lighting designer Johanna Town and sound designer and composer Jon Fiber for Jollygoodtunes.
Casting for the new West End run has yet to be announced.
Priority tickets will be available from 10am on 13 March 2026 for those who sign up via the production website. More than 4,500 reduced-price tickets will be released with prices ranging from £19.50 to £49.50. General booking opens at midday on 16 March 2026.
