The production will kick off this latest tour at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on the 23rd April 2027.
It has been announced that Nikolai Foster’s production of Jim Jacobs and Warrey Casry’s teenage musical will tour the UK in 2027, following acclaimed runs at the Dominion theatre in London as well as touring in 2024.
Following the story of Danny and Sandy as they navigate their final year at Rydell High, the musical features classic songs such as “Summer Nights”, “Hand Jive” and “Hopelessly Devoted To You.”
Choreographed by Arlene Philips, cast and creative team for 2027 run have yet to be announced.
As well as Plymouth, the musical will also visit: Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent, York, Oxford, Glasgow, Sunderland and Nottingham, with further venues to be announced.
