A new exhibition of work by artist Olga Regina is now available to view at the Brady Arts & Community Centre, exploring the layered identity ofCanary Wharf and London’s Docklands.

Memory of a New City presents a series of works that explores and reinterprets one of London’s most recognisable financial districts.

Instead of documenting the area directly, Olga Regina focuses on subtle shifts within the familiar.Through constructed and observed scenes, her work captures moments where everyday life intersects with something slightly unexpected: seagulls circling above glass towers, quiet residential streets beneath corporate skylines, or fleeting figures
that appear both out of place and entirely natural.

The aim of the exhibition is to reflect on how cities evolve by not replacing but adding layers to what already exists.

Explaining, Olga said: “I’m interested in how the city feels, not just how it looks. Canary Wharf is often seen as structured and controlled, but when you spend time there, you notice something softer — a human rhythm that exists alongside the financial one.”

Each of the pieces in the exhibition combine elements of photography, digital intervention and artistic reconstruction. All of the artworks are also available to purchase.
