The new culinary offerings include a new seasonal menu at the Straits Kitchen, elevated afternoon tea in partnership with luxury tea house Newby Teas, and new brunch menu with tableside Bloody Mary trolley.
Pan Pacific London has now launched a range of various menus for guests to enjoy in time for the Spring and Summer seasons.
First, the hotel has unveiled a new menu in its award-winning Straits Kitchen, with head chef having created a new menu that still combines blend of bold Southeast Asian flavours and refined Western techniques.
Among the dishes available are Cromer crab with kimchi and coriander, nori and miso butter focaccia, wok-fried cauliflower with nam prik ong-style lentils. Highlights from Medium and Large categories include monkfish with meen moilee and rendang-spiced lamb, anchored in reliable sourcing and technical discipline, reflecting Bateman’s longstanding focus on sustainability and supplier relationships.
Meanwhile, there is also The Experience menu – a five-course journey of umami, spice, and precision, featuring tuna tartare with soy-cured egg yolk, crab risotto with lime and kalamansi, and Straits Kitchen’s signature Hereford Beef Short Rib with sweet soy and stout jus. The Experience Menu costs £59pp, with a curated wine pairing available at an additional £35pp. The restaurant also offers an Express Menu from Monday to Friday, which is a 45-minute two-course lunch for £29, with dessert for an additional £7. The changing menu includes features of the full a la carte, along with exclusive dishes such as flat-iron steak or smoked duck breast with pickled shitake.
For those who enjoy an Afternoon Tea, Pan Pacific is now offering a new afternoon tea that is inspired by Spring that is filled with British classics with Asian flair and modern twists, in collaboration with luxury tea house Newby Teas.
Set in the Ginger Lily Lounge, the tea takes a contemporary take on beloved British tradition, surrounded by botanical interiors. Beginning with a refined selection of savoury bites from Marie Rose prawn cocktail to truffled Burford Brown egg, the menu also features freshly baked plain or golden raisin scones, and a collection of colourful cakes and pastries to finish, from blueberry and lemon macarons to mango mousse with kaffir lime and an elegant matcha strawberry opera cake.
The Newby Spring Afternoon Tea is £58pp, served Thursday to Monday, 1pm – 4pm, with a highlight being two new palate-cleansing tea infusions, created using blends by Newby Teas.
For those who enjoy a Sunday brunch, the Straits Kitchen is also making available a brand new brunch and Bloody Mary Trolley for guests to enjoy. The Sunday brunch includes a choice of one expertly prepared hot dish, from Steak and Eggs, Duck and Potato Hash or Fried Chicken Waffles to the classic Full English (vegan option available) alongside an unlimited cold buffet.
Meanwhile, the Bloody Mary Trolley is brought to the table, with each drink crafted to each guest’s taste for a personal touch to the celebration. Guests can select the timeless Classic Ritual, the robust Butcher’s Mary with bacon fat-washed vodka, or the herb-infused Garden Mary, each crafted with bold precision.
