The outdoor cinema experience will return to Canada Square Park from the 4th June – 1st September.

It has been announced that Canary Wharf’s Summer Screens will return this June with a three month programme of free film screenings, sport, quizzes and Mario Kart championships.
Among the films been screened this summer will include: Wicked: For Good, Barbie, Mamma Mia and Superman, alongside family favourites such as Wall-E and Matilda the Musical.
In addition, visitors can also catch daily live sport including Wimbledon and cricket, the return of the Mario Kart Championship and Sounds Familiar’s party-style music quiz on the big screen.
June also brings the long-awaited launch of Sea Lanes Canary Wharf, a 50-metre, six-lane natural water swimming pool floating in the dock, complete with eco-friendly saunas. To celebrate, an aquatic-themed film lineup will feature the multiple Oscar-winning The Shape of Water, the live-action The Little Mermaid and a special screening of British short film Swim Sistas.
The programme will also feature a special National Theatre Live screening of The Playboy of the Western World, bringing the acclaimed stage performance to the big screen.
Back by popular demand, the Mario Kart Championship returns with heats taking place across June, July and August. The winner will be rewarded with great prizes from some of Canary Wharf’s many shops, bars and restaurants.
