NEWS: Shakespeare’s Globe Announces Cast for ‘Much Ado About Nothing’

Full casting and creative team has now been announced for Shakespeare’s Globe’s upcoming revival of Shakespeare’s play.

It has been confirmed that the production will  feature Geraldine Alexander as Sister, Matilda Bailes as Margaret, Marlowe Chan-Reeves as Borachio, Fia Hadeed in the ensemble, Joshua John as Claudio, Assa Kanouté as Hero, Richard Katz as Dogberry, Kaffe Keating as Seacole and Messenger, Os Leanse as Verges, Adam Long as Don Pedro, Jonathan McGuiness as Leonato, Pippa Nixon as Beatrice, Ken Nwosu as Benedick and Joseph Potter as Don John.

The war is over, but the battle for love is just beginning. Beatrice has sworn off men, but there’s something about Benedick she just can’t leave alone.

Meanwhile, beneath Messina’s polished surface, secrets slip, gossip runs wild and reputations hang by a thread. Everyone’s saving face – and nobody’s doing it very well.

Meanwhile, the creative team behind the production includes: assistant director Charlotte Vickers, composer Angus MacRae, designer Sami Fendall, costume supervisor Jackie Orton, fight director Kev McCurdy, intimacy director Lucy Fennell, movement director Aline David and wellbeing lead Brenda Moore-Waite. Voice and text are by Annemette Verspeak and casting is by Becky Paris, head of casting at Shakespeare’s Globe.
