The tour will open at New Wimbledon Theatre on the 10th March 2027.
It has been announced that Pretty Woman the Musical will embark on a brand new tour in 2027 opening in Wimbledon before travelling to Manchester, Milton Keynes, York, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Sunderland, Southampton, Hull, Stoke-on-Trent, Leeds, Oxford, Bristol, Liverpool, Nottingham, Woking and Aberdeen, with further venues and casting to be announced.
Vivian and Edward are unlikely soulmates who overcome all odds to find each other… and themselves. Experience the moments you love from the movie – and get to know these iconic characters in a whole new way – in this dazzlingly joyous love story for the ages.
Based on the classic film starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, the musical features a score by Grammy® winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance (‘Summer of ’69’, ‘Heaven’) and a book by the film’s director Garry Marshall and screenwriter J.F. Lawton.
The show is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray), with the creative team also including: scenic design by David Rockwell, costumes by Tom Rogers from the original Broadway designs by Gregg Barnes and lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg. Sound design by John Shivers, hair design by Josh Marquette, and music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke. 101 Productions, Ltd/Kathy Kim are the Global General Management Consultant.
