The season will run at The Other Palace Theatre from October 2026 until January 2027.
It has been announced that a new season of work produced by Francesca Moody Productions will take place at The Other Palace Theatre this autumn and winter, featuring work that started life at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
This newly announced season will begin with Tim Crouch’s An Oak Tree (7th October-15th November), which first premiered in 2005. With guest performers to be announced, the story follows that of a father who has lost his daughter in a car accident and the driver of the car, who is a stage hypnotist.
Following this, from the 22nd October until the 3rd January 2027, Garry Starr: Classic Penguins will take to the stage. Created by Damien Warren-Smith, known for his physical and anarchic performances, the show sees him planning to save books by performing every Penguin Classic novel ever written, mostly naked, but with flippers.
Meanwhile, dark comedy Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Might Happen will take to the stage from the 19th November until the 10th January 2027. Created by Marcelo Dos Santos and performed by Steven Webb, the one man show focuses on a comedian who following years of dating apps finds a meaningful relationship but then proceeds to undermine it.
Talking about the news, Francesca Moody said: “All three shows push the boundaries of great storytelling, united by a playful theatricality and led by three brilliant and singular performers.”
Across the season, over 4000 tickets will be priced at £20.
