The hotel has partnered up with Moomin for a special hotel take over which is now running until October.
This new collaboration between the hotel and the characters from Swedish-Finnish writer Tove Jansson’s books includes two themed rooms, a Moomin-themed suite and King Family Room, inspired by Tove Jansson’s 1948 novel Finn Family Moomintroll.
Guests who book either of these two rooms can expect bespoke artwork, Moomin furnishings, books, games and family-friendly touches. Rates start from £272 for rooms and £422 for the suite.
Meanwhile, away from the accommodation the hotel is also offering a Moomin-themed Sunday brunch at OXBO Bankside, featuring dishes inspired by the much-loved characters, alongside character appearances on select dates. On the brunch menu is:
-Moominmamma’s Pancakes, served with banana and caramel compote and forest
berry jam leftover from breakfast for a zero-waste twist, alongside whipped cream
and maple syrup.
– Moomin’s Orange Marmalade Cakes
– Banana Blondies and Brown Butter Frosting
– Fresh Raspberry Tarts, Mamma Moomin Wildflower, Lavender and Lemon Honey
– Moomin themed Cookies
Families visiting the hotel can also enjoy a dedicated Moomin craft corner in the lobby with themed games, colouring, books and activities.
This experience in the hotel includes a complimentary mini bar and access to the Executive Lounge, including a complimentary light breakfast, all-day snacks and drinks, and evening canapés and drinks. Little visitors will also be treated to a limited-edition Moomin biscuit*from Biscuiteers, the UK’s original hand-iced biscuit company, as part of its official collaboration with the Moomin brand.
