The film is set to be released in cinemas on the 5th March 2027.
An official trailer has now been released for the upcoming new version of The Thomas Crown Affair, set for release in 2027.
Directed, produced and starring Michael B Jordan, the film is based on the original story written by Alan R. Trustman. The original film starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway was released in 1968, with another version starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo being released in 1999.
As well as Michael B Jordan, this updated version of the film is also set to star Kenneth Branagh (Belfast, Tenet), Adria Arjona (Hit Man, Andor), Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Danai Gurira (Black Panther, The Walking Dead), and Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones, Ghost in the Shell).
As well as Jordan directing, among those involved with the film include Grammy-winning musician Jon Batiste who has created the score, a screenplay by Drew Pearce (The Fall Guy) and Jason Hall (American Sniper), based on a story by Alan R. Trustman and Pearce, and based on a screenplay by Trustman.
Among the producers are: Elizabeth Raposo for Outlier Society and Charles Roven for Atlas Entertainment. Patrick McCormick and Toberoff Productions’ Marc Toberoff also produce. Trustman serves as an executive producer.
