The show will take place at the London Coliseum on the 14th and 15th February 2027.
It has been announced that Patti LuPone will head back to the London stage by bringing back her critically acclaimed concert ‘Matters of the Heart’.
Ms. LuPone celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Broadway engagement at the Beaumount Theatre with the launch of the tour in January 2026. The show is based on the CD recording of the same name which was released in 1999 and named one of the best recordings of the year by both The Times and Time Out in New York.
With tickets going on sale on the 4th September, ‘Matters of the Heart’ will see LuPone taking audiences on an exploration of the crimes, affairs and the mysteries of the heart, with electrifying performances of over two dozen love songs ranging from Broadway favorites to works by today’s top contemporary songwriters.
On returning to London Ms. LuPone said: “Performing my show “A Life in Notes” at the Coliseum in 2025 was a special night that I remember dearly. I can’t wait to come back with “Matters of the Heart,” which I first performed at the Donmar Warehouse in 1999. And it’s Valentine’s Day, Dolls. Will you be my Valentine?”
‘Matters of the Heart’ is conceived and directed by Scott Wittman, with musical direction and arrangements by Joseph Thalken and features the Four Play String Quartet.
