The musical will run at Wilton’s Music Hall from the 27th to the 31st October.
It has been announce that Jame Bogyo and Glenn Adamson will star as Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde respectively in new musical Stoker Wilde.
They will also be joined by three-time Olivier Award winner David Bedella as Henry Irving, Christina Bennington as Florence Stoker, Jemma Geanaus as Ellen Terry, Matt Rixon as Walt Whitman and Oliver Stockley as Lord Alfred ‘Bosie’ Douglas.
Stoker Wilde will explore the relationship between Stoker and Wilde, both born in Dublin and how they navigated their personal and professional lives – leading to an intense rivalry that saw them creating Dracula and The Picture of Dorian Gray.
This one act musical has a book and lyrics by Eric Rosen, with music and lyrics by Rodney Bush and is directed by Séimí Campbell. It will run for seven performances only and is presented as a musical in development. Casting is by Will Burton for Grindrod Burton.
