The production of Tim Crouch’s show will run at The Other Palace until the 15th November.
It has been announced that Luca Pasqualino, Katherine Parkinson, Jamael Westman and Jack Wolfe will join the line up of ‘An Oak Tree’ which has been produced for this production by Francesca Moody Productions.
Each performance sees a different guest artist artist joining Tim Crouch at each show.
A father loses his daughter to a car accident. The man behind the wheel is a stage hypnotist. When the father volunteers for the hypnotist’s act, these two men meet face to face for the first time since the accident.
What follows is a live theatrical experience like no other – a poignant yet absurdly funny exploration of loss, suggestion and the power of the mind.
Luca Pasqualino (Skins, Channel 4; Rivals, Disney) will perform on 31 October (evening),
Katherine Parkinson (Rivals, Disney; Here We Go, BBC), will perform on 14 November,
Jamael Westman (Hamilton, West End; An Ideal Husband, Lyric Hammersmith & Bristol
Old Vic) will perform on 7 November (matinee), and Jack Wolfe (Hadestown, West End;
Next to Normal, West End) will perform on 31 October (matinee).
An Oak Tree is part of Francesca Moody Productions’ new season at The Other Palace,
bringing together three extraordinary shows that began life at the Fringe before captivating
audiences around the world. In addition to An Oak Tree, the season will feature the award-
winning razor-sharp dark comedy Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible is Going to
Happen, and the international smash-hit Garry Starr: Classic Penguins. Each production
celebrates original voices and pushes the boundaries of what live theatre can be. Every
performance in the season will have 20 tickets available at £20.
