NEWS: Tom Hanks & Kelli O’Hara to Star in ‘This World of Tomorrow’ on Broadway

It has been announced that This World of Tomorrow, the new play by Tom Hanks and James Glossman will have a strictly limited run on Broadway next year.

Starring Hanks and Kelli O’Hara, the production is set to be directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon.

This World Tomorrow is based on a series of short stories written by Tom Hanks and will see the actor return to the Broadway stage for the first time in 14 years, following on from his Tony Award nominated performance in Nora Ephron’s Lucky Guy.

‘I’m so excited to continue this work on this amazing new American play,’ said Leon. ‘There’s no time like the present to further explore this story of love and time travel from Glossman and Hanks. More than anything, I look forward to even more audiences who will have the chance to witness the onstage chemistry of Kelli O’Hara and Tom Hanks.’

Complete cast and creative team details will be announced shortly.
