Duran Duran Announce UK Tour Dates Coinciding with New Album

Duran Duran have announced a series of UK tour dates in support of their 14th studio album ‘Paper Gods’, which will be released in the UK on the 11th September.

The band comprised of Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor will be heading off on tour from November 27th at the Manchester Arena before heading to Leeds, Cardiff, Brighton, London and Birmingham.

‘Paper Gods’ was recorded in London with the help of producers such as Nile Rodgers and Mark Ronson. It also features guests such as Janelle Monáe, Mr Hudson and Lindsay Lohan.

John Taylor described the album as going : “back to that strange early Duran mix: the hard-edged pop, coexisting with this dark, weird, experimental side.”

If there are any fans who can’t wait for the album or the tour then the news that the band will be performing at a number of summer festivals and several shows in the U.S will be highly appreciated.

Since forming in Birmingham in 1978, Duran Duran have become one of the influential and successful British bands of all time. They have won a huge number of awards including BRIT, Grammy and Ivor Novello awards and have sold approximately 100 million records during the course of their career.
