For this Winter season, the Lyric Hammersmith will present two family shows that will add a bit of sparkle to the festive period.

In the Main House will be the annual pantomime, this year it is Cinderella waiting to thrill and delight audiences,while a charming adaptation of Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas returns to the studio to delight children under the age of six.

This year’s pantomime has been written by Tom Wells and will be directed by Ellen McDougal. The cast will include Krystal Dockery (Cinderella), Karl Queensborough (Prince Charming), Sara Crowe (Madama Woo) and Samuel Buttery (Buttons). Further casting has yet to be announced.

So get your glittery shoes at the ready and warm up the pumpkin as Cinderella heads to the biggest party of the year to meet Prince Charming from the 21st November until the 3rd January 2016.

Meanwhile, in the Lyric Studio, the Lyrics beloved production of Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas makes a return to the studio for the fourth time.

The story follows Father Christmas as he awakes from a dream of sun, sea and sand only to find that it is the busiest day of the year: Christmas Eve. Filled with live music, playful puppets and a magical set, this production is a great way to introduce those under the age of six to theatre.

The production will fly into the studio from the 20th November until the 24th December.
