PREVIEW: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels @New Victoria Theatre, Woking

Residents of Woking prepare to be whisked to the French Riviera as Dirty Rotten Scoundrels arrives at the New Victoria Theatre next month.

Currently on a UK tour, following a successful run in the West End, where it starred Robert Lindsay and Rufus Hound, this hit musical is based on the hit 1988 film starring Steve Martin and Sir Michael Caine.

In this touring production of the hilarious show stars Michael Praed, Noel Sullivan, Carley Stenson and Gary Wilmot. It has been brought to the stage by the producers of Jersey Boys and director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray).

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels follows two tricksters who attempt to con a millionaire heiress. The sophisticated world of Lawrences Jameson comes crashing down with the arrival of the larger than life character Freddy Benson. Soon the pair find themselves going head-to-head inn a con in an attempt to win the affections of Christine Colgate – but they don’t know what they are letting themselves in for!
