Royal Court Theatre Production of Hangmen to Transfer to West End

It has been announced that Matthew Dunster’s production of Martin Donagh’s Hangmen will transfer to the Wyndham’s Theatre from the 1st December running for a limited season until the 5th March 2016. The news comes following a sold out run at the Royal Court Theatre with tickets for the transfer are on sale now.

After a ten year absence from the stage, McDonagh returned to the London stage with Hangmen in September to critical and public acclaim.  Original cast members David Morrissey and Johnny Flynn will reprise their roles for the transfer.

Producer Robert Fox said of the news: “I am thrilled to be working with Martin McDonagh again on this stunning production of his new play Hangmen, wonderfully directed by Matthew Dunster”.

Meanwhile Artistic Director of the Royal Court Theatre Vicky Featherstone commented: ” We are delighted that Hangmen will have a future life in the West End. It’s been thrilling to be able to continue the legacy of Martin McDonagh’s work at the Royal Court.  Hangmen will become a modern classic.”
