The Proud Galleries has announced the publication of their first book titled ‘Drawing Blood’ by Graham Humphries – in time for Halloween.

Graham Humphries is renowned for his depiction of horror films through art and this new book celebrates his work on some of the classic films such as ‘Dream Demon’, ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street (1,2,3,4,5) and ‘The Evil Dead’. The book is a collection of the iconic artwork and presented together for the very first time.

‘Drawing Blood’ is limited to 500 copies and features contributions from celebrated director Sam Rami, author and journalist Kim Newman and The Damned’s guitarist Brian James.

It will be launched alongside an exhibition of the same name at Proud Camden, showcasing the original artwork that Humphreys’ created and is still greatly valued today.

Considered to be one of the most influential horror film artists working today, this book and exhibition is a chance to revisit some of the best of his work so far.

The book will be launched at a special event at Proud Camden on the 28th October, with the exhibition being on display until the 22nd November.
