Roundhouse Announces Programme for Circusfest 2016

One of the UK’s best known festivals celebrating the best of contemporary circus returns to the Roundhouse from the 4th to the 24th April 2016 and the full programme has just been announced.

This latest season is filled with plenty of world premieres, amazing new productions and street performances from some of the best acts in circus that will certainly amaze and astonish audiences.

These thrilling experiences suitable for all ages take place in the heart of Camden as well as other venues across London such as Jacksons Lane, The Albany, Hackney Showroom and the arts depot.

Here is a list of some of the acts performing in next year’s festival:

Barely Methodical Troupe: Kin (World Premiere) – running from the 20th to the 24th April, this is the brand new show from the circus act who burst onto the scene last year with their award-winning show Bromance.

This latest show combines acrobatics with with contemporary dance to explore how we organise our lives, relationships and communities.


Race Horse Company: Super Sunday (UK Premiere) – want to get your heart racing? Then  you will want to pop down to the Roundhouse to see this from the 4th to the 16th April.

Filled with amazing acrobatics and filled with their trademark black humour, it is a show that features the wheel of death, a human catapult, trampolining and the teeterboard.


Roundhouse Street Circus Collective: Orbital – running at various times on the 9th and 10th April, this brand new show will bring together the energy of the city along with a journey that will take audiences on a thrilling ride.

Made up of performers aged between 11-25 year olds, the collective is a group of acrobats from across London who have been taking part in the Roundhouse Street Circus programme.
