Adele has announced details of a 2016 UK and European tour – her first tour since 2011.

The news follows the release of the eagerly anticipated album ’25’, which has already sold 737,000 copies in just six days.

This latest tour will open at the SSE Arena in Belfast before visiting venues in Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Birmingham before heading to venues across Europe.

Those wanting to buy advance sale tickets will have to sign up at http://adele.com/ with the advance tickets going on sale on the 1st December at 9am and EU advance tickets going on sale on the 2nd December at 9am.

Meanwhile the tickets will go on general sale to the public on the 4th December at 9am.

The last time that the singer went on tour it was for her 2011 Adele live concert dates, which followed the release of the hugely successful second album 21.

29th February & 1st March – SSE Arena, Belfast 

4th & 5th March – 3Arena, Dublin, Ireland 

7th & 8th March – Manchester Arena

15th-19th March – The O2 Arena, London 

25th-26th March – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow 

29th & 30th March – Genting Arena, Brimingham.
