In support of their latest album Humanz, Gorillaz have announced a major UK tour between the 27th November until the 4th December.
Following the release of their latest album Humanz, the band have announced that they will be embarking on a major new UK tour, showcasing songs from their fifth studio album as well as some of their best known songs.
The new UK tour dates will form a part of a wider European tour which starts in Luxembourg on the 1st November. Meanwhile, the UK leg of the tour will start at the Brighton Centre on the 27th November before visiting Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
Gorillaz’s latest album Humanz features collaborations with the likes of Vince Staples, Benjamin Clementine and Mavis Staples. It is their first studio album in seven years.
The tour will see will see the Murdoc Niccals (bass), Noodle (guitar), Russel Hobbs (drums) and 2D (vocals) joined on stage by the Gorillaz live band – Damon Albarn, Gabriel Wallace, Mike Smith, Jesse Hackett, Jeff Wootton, Karl Vanden Bossche, Seye Adelekan – as well as selected performers from the stellar roll call of Gorillaz’ family of featured artists.
The album Humanz follows on from 2010’s The Fall and includes the songs ‘Charger’, ‘Submission’ and ‘Momentz’
