Friends Star Matthew Perry to Premiere New Play in the West End

Best known for his role as Chandler Bing in hit comedy show Friends, Matthew Perry will be starring in his debut play in the West End, arriving at the Playhouse Theatre from February next year.

 

The End of Longing  has been written by Perry himself, who will be coming back to the West End for the first time in 12 years to also perform in the play.

This brand new production will also see Perry reuniting with director Lindsay Posner, with whom he last collaborated with on ‘Sexual Perversity in Chicago’ at the Comedy Theatre in 2003.

The End of Longing sees Jack, Stephanie, Joseph and Stevie all entering their forties and searching for meaning. After sharing a night together in a downtown Los Angeles bar, all four of them are taken on a journey that forces them to confront the darker side in their relationships.

Further casting and creative team have yet to be announced.

The End of Longing will open at the Playhouse Theatre from the 2nd February and will run until the 14th May 2016. Tickets are on sale now and can be bought from: Discount Theatre.com , ATG Tickets , Love Theatre.com and Ticketmaster.co.uk .
