The hit show returns to London due to popular demand – but does it still have the same effect as it did when it originally appeared at the Theatre Royal Bath in 2014?

The Upcoming: **** Melissa Hoban wrote: “Bad Jews explodes onto the stage at Theatre Royal Haymarket fuelled by what must have been a potent cocktail of caffeine to maintain such a high-energy, frenetic show.”

The Telegraph: **** Jane Shilling found it: “an exhilarating drama – gritty, but with a touchingly human heart.”

London Theatre 1:**** Karen Pond said: “Josh Harmon’s script moves you from laughter to serious thought in equal measure and whilst the script is sweary in places it is not offensive and does not spoil your enjoyment.”

Whats On London: **** Sandip Kana summed the production up saying: “Bad Jews is an incredible feat of theatrical performance.”

Time Out: **** Daisy Bowie-Sell thought that: “Michael Longhurst’s direction is excellent: smart, fast, and allows just the right amount of space to the script’s more reflective moments.”

Traffic Light Theatregoer: “a fast-moving, if sometimes flawed, thought-provoking piece.”

Overall Verdict: a strong piece of family drama filled with plenty of performances to enjoy that has been expertly directed.
