The full cast has been announced for the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company’s production of Romeo and Juliet at the Garrick Theatre from May.

The fifth production in the Plays at the Garrick season, which will also star Derek Jacobi, will run at the theatre from the 12th May to the 13th August.
Joining the previously announced Lily James, Richard Madden and Derek Jacobi, will be Meera Syal as the Nurse, Marisa Berenson (Lady Capulet), Jack Colgrave Hirst (Benvolio), Tom Hanson (Paris), Matthew Hawksley (Anthony),Taylor James (Prince), Ansu Kabia (Tybalt),Racheal Ofori (Potpan), Nikki Patel (Balthasar), Chris Porter (Lord Montague), Zoë Rainey (Lady Montague), Michael Rouse (Lord Capulet), Meera Syal (The Nurse), Sam Valentine(Friar Laurence) and Kathryn Wilder (Peta/Apothecary).
Kenneth Branagh reunites Lily James and Richard Maddon in one of the most beloved love stories of all time written by William Shakespeare – in the playwright’s 400th anniversary year.
The production will be broadcast live in cinemas on the 7th July, to give as many people as possible an opportunity to see this production.
