New Israeli Art Exhibition to Celebrate Feminism for International Women’s Day

Running at La Galleria Pall Mall from the 6th-13th March, Woman’s World will feature art from 27 contemporary Israeli artists – many of whom are new to the UK.

This multi-layered exhibition will reflect the conceptual and ideological blueprint of feminism in all its aspects such as strength, softness, pride, creativity, nobility, gender and beauty.

Woman’s World is being held to mark International Women’s day, which falls on the 8th March and is a one-off opportunity to see the exhibition in London.

There is a wide variety of interpretations of femininity shown through the many different types of work selected as part of the display, through the use of media types such as painting, drawing, photography and digital media for example. It is an expression of freedom in creativity, humour and research.

The exhibition will feature work by artists such as Stella Abek,Chen Chaim Bachar,Ika Bar,Nira Ben David,Menucha Ben Noon,Yitzhak Davidovich,Tami Davidson,Miri Eitan Sadeh,Mira Feldman,Gur Keren,Tami Gutman  and Bat Sheva Hachermoni.

This project is directed by the international art curator Zina Bercovici, who resides in London, and Michal Sadan, Art Counselor.

Woman’s World will be on display at La Galleria Pall Mall from the 6th to the 13th March. The gallery is open from 10.30am to 6pm weekdays and 12pm to 4pm on weekends.
