1. Bend it Like Beckham, Phoenix Theatre: closing nearly after a year that it originally opened, this musical based on the hit British film, tells the story of Jess who has to follow her family’s expectations in her choice of career, university and marriage or does she follow her own dreams of playing football?

2. Billy Elliot: The Musical, Victoria Palace Theatre: audiences who love this show shouldn’t worry, as it has just embarked on its first UK tour – so chances are that it will be coming to your local theatre soon.
Featuring music by Sir Elton John and lyrics and book by Lee Hall, the production has become a firm favourite with audiences and is based on the hit film.

3. War Horse, New London Theatre: the National Theatre production was critically acclaimed when it first opened and has remained a firm favourite with audiences ever since. After it closes in the West End a major UK tour has been announced to start in September 2017 – so it won’t be off stage for too long.

4. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Musical, Theatre Royal Drury Lane: although an official closing date has yet to be confirmed, the musical based on Roald Dahl’s book is now currently booking until the 7th January. It was also announced that the show will be heading to Broadway and embark on a UK tour.
