The musical follows two sisters who are on holiday by the seaside for the first time without their parents. Enjoying their freedom, they meet a young and handsome American who invites them to a dance at a local U.S Air force base. Along the way the sisters learn that while the world is watching things in black and white, life is more colourful.

Save the Last Dance for Me stars Antony Costa, one of the members of boyband Blue, X Factor finalist Lola Saunders and West End stars Elizabeth Carter (Dreamboats & Petticoats) and Wayne Robinson (The Lion King).

The show was written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (Birds of a Feather, Good Night Sweetheart) and featuring hit songs written by Elvis’ favourite writers, Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, Save the Last Dance for Me will take audiences back to the golden era of music as seen through the eyes of two sisters during the summer 1963.

Directed by Bill Kenwright and choreographed by Bill Deamer, Save the Last Dance for Me features songs such as ‘A Teenager in Love’, ‘His Latest Flame’ and of course ‘Save the Last Dance for Me’.
