With Kerry Ellis, Norman Bowman, Ramin Karimloo and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt leading the cast, the production is set to open for previews at the Arts Theatre from the 29th September, following American Idiot’s return to London.

Directed by Sam Yates, Murder Ballad is a brand new musical about love, obsession and murderous desire. The story follows three New Yorkers who are caught in a secret love triangle that threatens to tear their lives apart. While life hasn’t dealt any of them the cards they wanted, Sara is caught in the middle torn between her downtown past and her uptown future. Is the one that got away really worth risking everything for?

Fresh from a run on Broadway, Murder Ballad, written by Julia Jordan with music and lyrics by singer-songwriter Juliana Nash, is a sharp and edgy examination of modern relationships and disappointed dreams set in a big city.

The production features designs by Richard Kent, lighting design by David Plater and musical direction by Sean Green.

Murder Ballad will play at the Arts Theatre from the 29th September until the 3rd December 2016. To book tickets visit: Ticketmaster.co.uk, Discount Theatre.com, Theatre Tickets Direct.co.uk, Love Theatre.com, Theatre People.com and UK Tickets.co.uk
