Currently running at the Aldwych Theatre, the Olivier Award winning musical has confirmed that it is now booking in the West End until July 2017.
Directed by Marc Bruni, the musical follows the rise to stardom of singer-songwriter Carole King and features many classic songs such as ‘So Far Away’, ‘Will You Love me Tomorrow’ and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’.
Now booking at the Aldwych Theatre until the 22nd July 2017, the musical opened in London in February 2015, and has won a number of awards including Tony and Olivier Awards.
The cast currently includes Cassidy Janson in the title role alongside Alan Morrissey as King’s husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin. Lorna Want, Ian McIntosh as Gary Trainor and Diane Keen.
Beautiful: The Carole King Musical features choreography by Josh Prince with set designs by Derek McLane, costume designs by Alejo Vietti, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski and sound by Brian Ronan. The production also features a book by Douglas McGrath with words and music by Gerry Goffin, Carole King, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.
