The Olivier Award winning musical will now book until the 6th May 2017 at the Adelphi Theatre. 

This latest booking period for the musical comes as it celebrates its first birthday in the West End, with tickets for the new period available to buy now.

Kinky Boots has proved popular with audiences and critics alike since it opened at the Adelphi Theatre last year. It has gone on to win three Olivier Awards including Best New Musical and Best Actor in a Musical for Matt Henry.

Featuring a book by Harvey Fierstein, music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots is a heartwarming story about friendship and how we can change the world when you change your mind.

Based on true events, Kinky Boots takes audiences on a journey from a gentleman’s shoe factory in Northampton to the glamour of Milan. Charlie Price (David Hunter) is struggling to live up to the his father’s expectations and keep the family business running. With the future of the factory and the workers hanging in the balance, Charlie finds help in the spectacular form of Lola (Matt Henry)  – a performer in need of new stilettos.

Kinky Boots has also won a number of awards on Broadway including six Tony Awards such as Best Musical, Best Score and Best Choreography.

The production features scene designs by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and sound design by John Shivers.
