NEWS:Joannah Tincey’s Production of Pride & Prejudice to Play at Jermyn Street Theatre

This unique production of Jane Austen’s classic love story featuring a cast of two will arrive at the Jermyn Street Theatre from the 30th November until the 21st December following a UK tour.

Using nothing but Jane Austen’s text, two actors perform the classic story for a unique and refreshing take on one of the most popular novels in English Literature. This must see for Austen fans will offer a new opportunity for her work to be appreciated in a different style in this new piece of theatre.

The story follows Mr and Mrs Bennet and their five unmarried daughters, trying to raise their social status by marrying well and with the arrival of Mr Bingley and his friend Mr Darcy it seems that happy endings could be in sight. But the path of true love never does run smooth…

This latest production will see Joannah Tincey and Nick Underwood bringing to life 21 of Austen’s characters and locations to life in this romantic and sparkling new adaptation by Joannah Tincey.

The production is directed by Abigail Anderson, designed by Dora Schweitzer and lighting by Simon Wilkinson.
