Australian writer Matthew Whittet’s unique play will see a cast of veteran stage actors take on the role of a group of teenagers. The cast will include Sarah Ball as Lizzy, Michael Feast as  Mike, Mike Grady as  Ronny, Diana Hardcastle as Jess, Margot Leicester as Emilia and Richard Cordery as Tom.

Jess is Mike’s girlfriend. Tom is Mike’s best friend, but he’s secretly in love with Jess. Emilia is Jess’s best friend and she’s about to get drunk for the first time. Lizzy is Mike’s annoying younger sister. And Ronny, well no-one invited Ronny and no one’s quite sure why he’s there. As dawn approaches, through a fog of cheap beer, dreams are shared, insecurities aired and secrets spilled.

Directed by Anne-Louise Sarks, Seventeen is making it European premiere following its acclaimed run at Belvoir, Sydney in 2015.

The creative team for the production also includes designs by Tom Scutt, lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Nick Manning and movement direction by Imogen Knight.

Seventeen will play at the Lyric Hammersmith from the 4th March until the 8th April. For more information and to book tickets visit: http://www.lyric.co.uk/whats-on/production/seventeen/?pes=Main%20House
