From the 9th March, Proud Camden will present an exhibition focusing on the photographs by Paul Harries.

This display of Paul Harries photographs will allow visitors to get a glimpse of rockstars backstage from the last two decades. Images on display will feature icons such as Nirvana, Slash, Metallica, Slipknot, and Muse. With each image, Paul Harries puts in his own unique style and creativity.
Having been granted access to some of the biggest names in rock history, the photographer captured the bands on set, backstage and in studios across the globe, Harries’ photographs have an unrivalled depth and atmosphere.
Featuring photographs from the 1990’s up until the present day, revealing the photographer’s unconventional and bold style, while exposing the rockstar lifestyles of those he took pictures of.
Talking about his early love of music as well as his increasing passion for photography, Paul Harries said: ““I was always hugely interested in music and because I couldn’t sing or play any instrument, photographing the bands was the perfect way to be involved.”
His career as music photographer took off when he was introduced by a friend to Kerrang! Magazine to which he has contributed as one of the leading lensmen of rock photography since 1989.
