The internationally acclaimed singer returns to London to make her Jazz Divas debut at The Other Palace Studio on the 25th May.

Well known in the worlds of jazz and cabaret, Barb Jungr is known for combining elements of jazz and blues with everything from musical theatre to Iranian folk singing.
She is a singer who is well known to London audiences, particularly those who frequent The Other Palace (formerly known as St James Theatre), where she has performed on a number of occasions.
This particular concert taking place at The Other Palace on the 25th May, marks her debut as part of the jazz divas series and will see her performing material from her latest release ‘Shelter from the Storm’. In addition to this, the concert will also feature performances of songs written by Jungr.
Her original arrangements of contemporary songs written by the likes of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen has meant she is recognised as one of the most important interpreters of their work.
For the concert, Jungr will be accompanied by Jamie Safir on piano and David Mantovani on double bass.
