London Mozart Players will launch their #LMPOnTheMove tour with a concert at Matthews Yard in Croydon in collaboration with Fiona Brice on the 19th May.
The classically-trained composer, arranger and violinist will present the world premiere of her new orchestral work ‘Relationships’
Fiona Brice is considered to be one of Britain’s most versatile and adventurous collaborators. Her credits as an orchestrator stretch thirty studio albums from the likes of Placebo, Ed Harcourt, Kate Nash, Sandy Dillon and John Grant, whilst performing alongside some of the world’s most prominent musicians, including Kanye West, Jay Z, Beyoncé, Meatloaf, Katherine Jenkins, Gorrillaz and Robbie Williams.
The programme for the concert will also include performances of Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony and Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.
London Mozart Players was founded in 1949 by Harry Blech as the UK’s first chamber orchestra and has since gone on to become renowned for its outstanding live performances and CD recordings of the core Classical repertoire.
