More casting for Jamie Lloyd’s production of Alexi Kaye Campbell’s play has been confirmed.

Apologia

This revival production will see Doctor Who and Deadwood star Freema Agyeman play Claire opposite Stockard Channing who will be taking on the role of Kristin Miller.

In addition, it has also been announced that Olivier Award nominee Desmond Barrit will take on the role of Hugh, while Joseph Millson has been cast in the dual roles of Kristin’s sons.

Desmond Barrit was Olivier nominated for his performance in Sir Peter Hall’s critically acclaimed Henry IV Parts I and II.

Joseph Millson is best known for hir television performances in the BBC’s The Last Kingdom and Banished.

Apologia first hit the stage at the Bush Theatre in 2009 and was the second play to be written by Alexi Kaye Campbell, following The Pride. The playwright’s other work includes Sunset at The Villa Thalia at the National Theatre and The Faith Machine at the Royal Court.

Apologia will play at the Trafalgar Studios from the 29th July until the 18th November. To book tickets visit: ATG Tickets, Ticketmaster.co.uk, Discount Theatre.com, Theatre Tickets Direct.co.uk, Love Theatre.com, Theatre People.com ,  UK Tickets.co.uk  and See Tickets.com
