PREVIEW: The Wasp, Jermyn Street Theatre

Morgan Lloyd Malcom’s thriller directed by Anna Simpson will arrive at the Jermyn Street Theatre from the 31st July.

Lisa Gorgin and Selina Giles in The Wasp

Heather and Carla haven’t seen each other since school.
Their lives have taken very different paths- Carla lives a hand to mouth existence while Heather has a high flying career, husband and beautiful home. And yet, here they are in a cafe having tea and making awkward conversation. That is until Heather presents Carla with an unexpected proposition…

Morgan Lloyd Malcom’s thriller asks how far do we all take our childhood experiences and what lengths we are willing to go to overcome them. Why do people hurt each other? Can we ever forgive someone else for the hurt they have caused us?

The production is set to star Lisa Gorgin (Footloose – Novello Theatre and Playhouse Theatre) and Selina Giles (V for Vendetta) and is directed by Anna Simpson whose previous work includes Dorian Gray (Pleasance Theatre, and Edinburgh Festival Fringe) and The Government Inspector (Pleasance, London and Edinburgh Fringe Festival).

The Wasp will feature designs by Mike Leopold (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hamlet and Montagu).

The Wasp will appear at the Jermyn Street Theatre from the 31st July until the 12th August. For more information visit:
